Client projects are typically arranged in a staged way; this permits both Phares and its clients to make informed decisions at each phase of the development process.
Formulation projects are started open-ended, and depending on the results of the first phase of activities Phares and its clients may decide to proceed to the next step.
Clients retain full ownership of intellectual property of their API, and API-related formulation patents belong solely to the client. Clients also retain full control over manufacturing.
Commercial terms can be flexibly arranged to suit the needs of the client, ranging from back-loaded arrangements with lower payments upfront and greater at later stages to front-loaded terms with higher upfront payments with low later-stage obligations. Royalty-free terms are possible.
